YOUR EMF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
Scheduling and Payment:
A $100 deposit is required at the time of scheduling along with your address and assessment goals. Upon receiving this deposit, I will begin research into EMF sources in your area, such as microwave & cell towers, Wi-Fi antennas, and other EMF sources. Due to extensive preliminary research, this deposit is non-refundable, however I will work with you in earnest to either reschedule your assessment or, as an alternative, I’ll provide you with the results of the preliminary research, which is, in itself, a consultation.
The EMF assessment fee is $350 for up to a 2,000 square foot home and $0.05 per square foot above 2,000 sq. ft. There are no time & travel charges if the assessment is within 30 minutes of Atlantic Beach. If further away, a travel charge of $0.45 per round-trip mile from Atlantic Beach, NC to your home.
The assessment fee and travel charges, less deposit, are payable via cash, check or credit card on the day of the assessment. This includes a general assessment the house and lot, evaluating four types of EMFs. Where possible, mitigation of electric fields in up to three bedrooms will be attempted via circuit-breaker manipulation and is included in the assessment fee. Any further mitigation extending beyond the first 4 hours, for example to mitigate the radio frequency and electric fields of an office space, is charges at $100 per hour plus parts.
The EMF findings and recommendations will be reported verbally at the time of the survey. A written list of recommendations will follow within 3-4 business days. If a formal report is desired there is an additional cost of $250. Please let me know ahead of time if a formal report is desired.
Preparation for your Assessment:
As soon as possible after booking your assessment, please provide me with a sketch of your floor plan for each level of your house. If you don’t have a printed copy, a hand-sketched copy will do, roughly showing the general layout and major rooms, house orientation etc. (A picture of your rough sketch can be texted to me at 252-622-5626.) On it please note square footage, and anything you know about the construction materials used in your building – For example: walls, roofing materials, siding, foundation – basement, crawl space or slab?
What to Expect:
It is important for you to be present at the time of the assessment, and that you are available to ask and answer questions about the environment and to observe the demonstrated EMF that is onsite.
The meters used measure for the various types of EMF are detailed below.
I will use the electrical breakers to cut off power in your home in order to establish baselines for the EMFs present in the environment verses those contributed by your home. The latter generally offer more options for mitigation. Please let me know if there is any equipment that needs special consideration before being turned off. I will also manipulate breakers to determine which circuits are causing any high electrical fields in the sleeping areas.
An EMF assessment can take three to four hours or longer, depending on the environment and number of issues encountered.
